Ayodele Arogbo, CFA is a co-founder and Partner of Synergy Managers Mauritius Limited, fund manager for the Synergy Private Equity Fund LP (SPEF). Ayodele has over 20 years’ experience in corporate and commercial banking, financial advisory and private equity, having worked with FSB International Bank and African Capital Alliance before co-founding Synergy Capital & Advisory Limited. Ayo has successfully sourced, managed and exited investments in the oil & gas, business solutions, real estate, hospitality and financial services sectors. Ayodele has expertise helping investee companies achieve their financial and strategic objectives through a hands-on approach to the execution of business goals. He is a Finance graduate of the University of Lagos and a certified chartered accountant of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant; Ayo is CFA charter holder and a trustee of the CFA Society of Nigeria.

‘Sunkanmi Oladimeji is a Senior Vice President, Synergy Capital Managers with over 15 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Fund raising, Transactions and deal advisory having worked with various companies such as Diamond Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and Synergy Capital Managers. As the Senior Vice President at Synergy Capital Managers, he manages fund portfolios worth $500million and is responsible for deal origination, evaluation, investment making, monitoring, and exit of portfolio companies. At Diamond Bank, he led the Structured Finance & Advisory Unit of the Corporate Banking Division with a portfolio of over $1billion having participated actively in Reserved Based Lending, asset acquisitions, Club and Syndicated financing across the Energy, Infrastructure, Telecoms, Manufacturing Divisions ‘Sunkanmi also worked as an investment professional in the Corporate Finance Unit at PwC which involves providing various financial advisory services such as Sell-side/ Buy-side Advisory, Business plan documentation and review, Commercial and Financial Due Diligences, Valuation, and financial modelling, fund raising, etc. ‘Sunkanmi is an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA), a First-Class graduate (B.Sc.) of Finance from the University of Lagos.
OLAKUNLE ADENIJI

Kunle started his career in 1995 with ECO Bank in the Credits & Operations department before joining Sahara Energy Group as an Operator in 2000, rising through the ranks to occupy various top positions. In 2005, Kunle was appointed the Deputy Managing Director – Product Trading and Operations for Sahara Trade West Africa which traded in Crude, Middle distillates, condensate, Naphtha, and Fuel Oil and exported Crude, Fuel Oil, Naphtha, Condensate, and imported middle distillates and Base oils into Nigeria, Ghana, and Benin Republic. In 2007 he was appointed Acting Managing Director for Sahara Energy Resource (Nig) Ltd, and in 2009, he was appointed the Managing Director of Sahara Energy International PTE Ltd. Singapore, with a mandate to promote a first class trading company in Asia. After a successful period of fifteen (15) months serving in Singapore, Kunle returned to Nigeria where he joined Optima Energy Resources Ltd. as the Trading Director in April 2010 to expand it’s downstream business in Nigeria. Kunle holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
