Driven by a vision for independent energy storage expansion for Africa, Africa Terminals through its subsidiary in Nigeria ATNL, acquired its first facility in Lagos Nigeria, in March 2016 and started operations in July of the same year after undergoing major refurbishment to meet world-class standards.
The 23,000MT facility located at the Ibru Jetty, Apapa, Lagos, has the capacity to store 26,000,000 litres of refined petroleum products and has been configured for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK).
ATNL is presently exploring opportunities to expand the capacity of this facility to 33,000MT to serve Africa better.
